Diepkloof SAPS is looking for a man from Diepkloof for armed robbery and kidnapping and has warned any person who can recognise his face to never approach him because he is armed and very dangerous.
The spokesperson for the police in Diepkloof, Captain Phephi Matlou-Mteto explained that the man whose whereabouts are a mystery has been reported to have kidnapped someone and to be armed and impetuous.
Matlou-Mteto said, “We are looking for the man in a kidnapping case. This man is also wanted for a few armed robbery cases as well even though he did not use any force to rob the people, he is said to be a smooth talker when it suits him.”
Kidnap is a serious allegation and charge and has consequences, Matlou-Mteto explained that the man wanted for kidnap is very deceitful and dangerous from what they could gather and that to avoid any more bad reports and fatalities, people are urged to call the police immediately after he is spotted and he is never to be approached.
The man is said to have been very busy smooth talking the people from Diepkloof Extension and robbing them their hard earned money, he is said to even pose as a pastor sometimes.
Matlou-Mteto said, “The armed suspect seems to not regard the law as he should so to protect the people, we ask them to never try to take the law into their own hands whenever they see the suspect because only God knows what would happen, rather they call the police immediately.”
