This afternoon at about 2:10pm a man was shot outside Bernard Isaac Primary School in Coronationville. The man was apparently waiting to pick up his child when he was shot in his vehicle in-front of the school.
Communications officer from the Sophiatown Police station, Jerbes de Bruyn said; “According to witnesses 2 unknown men approached the victim where he was sitting in his car.
“The suspect’s took out firearms and shot at the victim.
“The victim was shot in his left shoulder.”
The communications officer added that the two suspect’s then fled on foot and the victim was taken to hospital by the public.
“The police ask that anyone with information to contact the police,” concluded de Bruyn.
