Woman arrested for dealing with dagga

A 26-year-old woman was arrested for dealing in dagga in Thubelisha.

According to a police report, the Protea Glen crime Prevention unit members received a tip-off about dagga being sold at a house in Thubelisha. The police quickly went to the house and found a woman in the house.

They searched the house and they found plastic bags containing dagga. A total of 137 plastic bags containing dagga and an undisclosed amount of money was also found in the house.



The station commander of Protea Glen police station, Colonel Ivy Maota has praised the members for their hard work.

She also thanked the community for assisting the police with information about criminal activities in their area. The woman will appear in the Protea Magistrates court on a charge of dealing in dagga.
