‘Kheez’ impassioned about the music keys

"All I can say is watch out I am the next big thing,"- Kheez.

Pimville: Introducing a young self-driven 31-year-old Itumeleng Katane also known as “Kheez” born and bred in Soweto has always had a passion for music, from a tender age.

Katane is a club, social and dance sensation, he aims to be an entertainment tool. He is a professional Music producer, Club Dj, Film Scorer, Audio Engineer, Mixing and Mastering Engineer, Recording Engineer, a Percussionist and also volunteers to be a music teacher at Nkholi Primary School in Pimville.

He later joined Buntfu Media Communications and also merged with Audio Jazz Records in various projects as a Recording, Mixing and Mastering Engineer


Kheez will soon release his new hit single, so expect more from him.

“I am currently working with a record Label called Big Bang Record, but I am not yet signed on it. I am actually planning on releasing an EP on July and there are actually some upcoming gigs that are on the pipeline as we have not yet confirmed the date and I am planning on doing a live indoor show based on my EP,” he said.

He was featured in Venues such as Chaf Pozi, News CafĂ© (Maponya Mall), Lethabong Pub & Grill, BK Pub & Grill, Chocs Pub, Capello (Kliptown and Jabulani Mall), Maligenz Sport Bar, Tawittis Pub & Grill and Uncle Joe’s Pub.

He graduated in 2013 from the Soul Candy Institute of Music and Boston City Campus for Advanced Digital Composition and Music Production and has recently worked with an upcoming theatre production with Khamba Records and Entertainment.



Kheez together with Big Bang Records will soon release his latest hit single which he says is definitely going to hit his fans with a storm.

He is currently under the management of Ink Black Entertainment where YFM Dj’s Mellotik and Lebza “The Villian” are part of their portfolio.


Kheez will soon release his new hit single, so expect more from him.

A massive house single called “Can I” where he is featuring a professional Vocalist Gown’Tse is actually the hottest release of Kheez’s career to date. He also had the privilege and an opportunity to work with prominent beings such as Invaders of Africa, Element Souls, Muvo De Icon, JD Production, Juevenile Dee, Slynfit and Citizen Deep.
