Mayor Herman Mashaba cuts the ribbon at the Langlaagte Pharamcy
The day has come for the Johannesburg Metropolitan Council Langlaagte Pharmacy Region B’s official opening. Executive Mayor Herman Mashaba and MMC of Health and Social development Dr. Mpho Phalatse was at the pharmacy this morning for the opening.
The project started in 2016 however due to many issues, the project was delayed. Region B choir was also there to perform a few items.
After the speeches were done, the executive mayor cut the ribbon and the officials, as well as the media, were taken on a tour inside of the pharmacy and Jimmy Nombeu who is the Responsible Pharmacist explained in detail how the distribution works, how waste is dealt with, how the cold rooms for the vaccines operate and so forth.
