IPSchools finalize partnership with Thabo high school in Naledi

IPSchools to continue with their Saturday classes program at Thabo high school.

IPSchools will continue to make use of Thabo High School classrooms for Saturday classes in Naledi.

The decision comes after a meeting held to resolve any issues that IPSchools, SGB & the Principal were facing with regard to IPSchools renting classes and using them for its Saturday classes program.



The spokesperson for the Gauteng Department of Education, Steve Mabona said It is important to note that the principal and chairperson could not stop the project since learners had already paid. However, the community was informed of the IPSchools project without the proper protocol followed. Also, note that there is no paper trail showing that there was proper protocol followed.

Thobo high school SGB chairperson, Portia Taaibos confirmed that IPSchool were granted classrooms to continue with classes.

“The SGB will meet to give feedback back to our members about the outcome of the meeting with IPSchools,

Departement of Education and other stakeholders, “after our meeting we will invite IPScools to finalize and readdress all the challenges we faced and to hand them the contact,” said Portia.
