‘Teenager who died along Naledi railway was playing on top of the train’ – police

The police are pleading with the parents and guardians to warn their children about the dangers of playing on top of a train.

The Naledi police are investigating an incident involving a young boy (15) who was knocked by a train on Wednesday, 20 along the Naledi railway next to the RDP houses.

According to Constable D. Phemula, It’s alleged that a boy (15) was on his way back from school wearing a school uniform (white shirt, grey, and black shoes). He was seen playing on top of the train and after few minutes he falls on the rail and the train knocked him.




He was declared dead on the scene.

“The police are pleading with the parents and guardians to warn their children about the dangers of playing on top of a train,” said Constable Phemula.
