A case of a missing person has been opened at the Diepkloof SAPS.

A case of a missing person has been opened at the Diepkloof SAPS since last year November after Xolani Mbanjwa disappeared with his white Toyota Corolla and has not been seen ever since then.

The spokesperson for Diepkloof SAPS, Captain Phephi Matlou-Mteto explained that the young man was reported missing by the family last year and that he was last seen with his car.

Matlou-Mteto said, “The young man has been missing for a very long time now and the family has been anxious to know about his where about and the thing is that we do not even have any leads about his disappearing and no suspects.”



The missing young man owns a Maxi Taxi and operates it, according to the spokesperson; he used to work from South Gate picking up people from the Gold Reef City.

The people he used to work with driving the Maxi Taxi were asked when last they spoke to him because according to Matlou-Mteto, his colleagues mentioned that they used to communicate a lot over the phone and the last time they said they have heard from him was on the day his family last saw him.

The missing man lived at the Hostel in Diepkloof Zone Six with his family and relatives who have gone as far as Kwazulu Natal several times in search of the missing man to no avail.
