Deadline for supplementary exam registration is TODAY

Candidates who were absent with a valid reason (medical unfit, death in the immediate family or other special reasons*) from one or more external question papers, may register for the NSC June examination.

Department of Basic Education [DBE] has announced that supplementary examination which candidates wrote between February-March has been discontinued. The candidates will in future sit for the exam between May-June.

Supplementary exam gives an opportunity to former learners who wish to better or improve their matric results or complete outstanding results.

Please note that applications close January 31, 2019.

Conditions for entry as stipulated by DBE:

NB: Documentary proof substantiating reason for absenteeism must be submitted at the centre of registration to ensure entry to the June examination. The Statement of Results should also be presented for proof of the November examinations registration.
