Police offering R50k reward for info
Police are searching for this man known only as 'Thami'.
Protea Urban News published an article on behalf of the Protea SAPS last year requesting the community’s assistance in finding a man who could be of assistance in a string of rape cases.
The man known only as Thami is light in complexion and resides around Soweto according to police. This man is said to have information that could assist police with an investigation into rape cases that occurred in the Protea Glen and Braamfischer in the Soweto West Cluster.
Police are offering a reward of R50 000 to anyone with information that could lead to these cases being solved.
Anyone with information regarding where police could locate this man is requested to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Ernest Twala on 076 162 2368 or Captain Bester on 079 890 7472 of the Provincial Serial Investigation.
