Driver and occupant injured as vehicle crashes through wall

SAPS were on the scene for further investigation.

The driver of a light motor vehicle who apparently suffered a seizure and blacked out, crashed through the boundary wall of a home on Toby Street, Sophiatown, injuring a woman sitting in her lounge.

ER24 paramedics arrived at 11:26 to find the vehicle lodged part way through the front window of the house. Both the 63-year-old man and the 28-year-old woman were taken to hospitals in the area, where they were treated for moderate injuries.

SAPS were on the scene for further investigation.
