Food Lover’s Market Diepkloof will temporarily be closing its doors following an incident at the store. A customer filmed a rat in a food section and as evident in the footage, the animal was eating the food.
The video has since been making rounds on social platforms. To remedy the situation, Food Lover’s Market Diepkloof will temporarily close so that it could restore it to a level that lives up to all its brand values and puts us, its valued customers, first.
The brand also wishes to emphasise that it always aims to achieve the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene in all the stores. The store has since apologised for the incident and for that the standards were not met at Food Lover’s Market Diepkloof.
