January, is the period of the year when most prospective students who wish to study at university or colleges in 2019 and have not been offered a place at the institution to which they have applied, begin to panic.
Panic-stricken students often make rush decisions and fail to even check for simple things such as verifying if an institution is registered. SA Gov News sent out cautionary advice to all students seeking space especially at colleges.
There are some reputable colleges that are well-known but nowadays you also could come across treacherous institutions that have slick consultants who can deceive you into registering with their college.
It is important to note that some of these students come from poor families – families that saved up for years just to take their child to school. Students and their parents are urged to be aware of bogus colleges when applying at institutions of higher learning.
