Season of the South EP Launch a huge success

Kay-E expressed his deepest gratitude to his fans for the support they are giving him.

Acclaimed township lingo Hip-Hop artist, Keletile ‘Kay-E’ Nyamane launched his much-anticipated Extended Player (EP), ‘Season of the South on August 25 at Icon Soweto.

Initially, it was set to be launched early August and unfortunately South African Hip-Hop artist, ProKid, passed away during that period and the launch was postponed.

ProKid was featured in one of the tracks, Izinto from the launched EP, the song expresses a typical life of a citizen in the South.

The long-awaited Season of the South EP was released in June and talks about what the South is about, the EP also offers a new sound, originating from the South called Pink Panther. According to Kay-E, the launch attendance was above his expectations.

“The attendance was overwhelming, as much as I believe so much in my music, I never expected that turnout. Artists and DJs gave me so much support, with most of them performing for free. My next single, ‘Vele’ is one of the tracks that stood out, my fans amazingly loved it,” said Kay-E.

He also expressed his deepest gratitude to his fans for the support they are giving him. The launch is probably still the talk of the town especially in Pimville as it saw fans being entertained with great live performances from the likes of Red Button, Mad On Dough and main act being the man himself, Kay-E.

Kay-E comes a long way from the times of ‘Bona Reatsang’ hit track which became a jingle for Bonang Matheba’s show on YFM back in the days and is currently doing great and expressing great talent.

He has worked with the likes of Red Buttton, Neo Beats, Mad On Dough to mention a few and his music is available on iTunes. He has done a number of radio interviews and is currently doing a Limpopo tour, where he will be promoting his music and doing more radio interviews, this will also create a hype around his EP.
