Little Courageous Kids: Graduation for the Grade Rs

After graduating, the graduates each had to come forward to introduce themselves and share what they want to be when they grow up.

An elementary school by the name of Little Courageous Kids (LCK) in Florida held their graduation for their Grade R learners on November 24.

The event took place in the hall of Florida Primary School where parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends came together to honour their little genius.

The event started a bit late but when it started, the graduates along with their mothers walked down the aisle to get ready to graduate.

The graduates each had a rose which they gave their mothers and thereafter they were in place to graduate. It was a joyful event that was filled with laughter, tears of joy, and a sense of honour.

After graduating, the graduates each had to come forward to introduce themselves and share what they want to be when they grow up. Many learners wanted to be teachers and principals. One learner by the name of Cylan Sing wants to be a businessman and his mother Marcelle Smith said that she is very proud of her son.

When asked what the day meant to her as a mother, Smith said: “As a mother, I was filled with joy. I felt proud and I also had mixed emotions just knowing that his taking another step in his life, going to primary school next year. It actually made me sad because as you walking down the aisle, you think of when he was a baby and how he has grown.”

The graduates then went on to the concert half of it where the little ones and the graduates danced for the audience. “I really enjoyed the day, I enjoyed the little ones dancing around. The atmosphere was brilliant and I think my son looked very handsome and cute,” said Smith.
