Global citizen festival performers arrive in SA

Headliners have finally landed in SA.

Lanseria airport in Johannesburg was abuzz with activity as Beyoncé and Jay-Z landed in South Africa with Blue Ivy and the twins.

Naomi Campbell and Oprah Winfrey, who will be amongst the lead hosts of the festival have also arrived in the country with Campbell attending a gifting event by the Motsepe Foundation in Soweto yesterday.

Winfrey gave the keynote address as part of the Is’thunzi Sabafazi initiative hosted by the Nelson Mandela Foundation at UJ Soweto Campus yesterday.

Amongst the stars who have arrived is former Destiny’s Child member, Kelly Rowland and Oprah’s best friend Gayle King, who is also one of the lead hosts.

Pharrell Williams, Tyler Perry, Usher, Ed Sheeran, Tiwa Savage and Wizkid are amongst some of the big names who have yet to land in SA for the festival that is set to rock South Africans this Sunday.
