Facilitators receive their certificates

The purpose of the foundation is to help participants to explore the possibility of personal peace and discover their inner resources, tools for living such as inner strength, choice, appreciation and hope.

The newly trained Peace Education Programme facilitators were receiving their certificates after 10 weeks of training.

The Peace Education Programme is a media-based educational programme created by the Prem Rawat Foundation.

The purpose of the foundation is to help participants to explore the possibility of personal peace and discover their inner resources, tools for living such as inner strength, choice, appreciation and hope.

It consists of 10 hours of workshop material focused on a selection of core themes from Prem Rawat’s international talks.

Currently the program is being rolled in different NGO’s organisations, schools, government departments and prisons in South Africa.

According to Lesego Mabogola of the foundation, they started to attend from mid-September until the second week of October.

“The certificates that they received was after attending 10 workshops in which it took 10 weeks to finish.

“During our classes they a watched a video for about one hour thirty minutes and then reflected on what have seen in the video,” said Mabogola.

He said the video was about appreciation of peace, dignity, choice and hope and every video they watched gave them education.

“The way forward of the programme will depend on a individual since they have learned and got their certificates and I believe they have found inner peace because the workshop was about peace,” said Mabogola.

The programme was started in 2012 and it has since been teaching about finding inner peace.
