It brings so much joy and smiles to the face of someone who is receiving something he or she really needs.

For many, it is just a small thing but to them, it meant the world because it is what they really needed.

Miss teen commonwealth finalist Ziphozethu Sithebe organised a hand-over ceremony of Wheelchairs and sanitary pads to the learners of Albertina Sisulu Centre in Orlando West.

Of course, she couldn’t do it on her own but with the assistance of Chairman Industries and W&RSETA.

She said she specifically chose to place her focus on children with special needs because they are sometimes overlooked in some societies.

The young lady has children with disability at heart because she aims at helping them more if she could.

Sebastian Sierra said they gladly accepted the request they had received from Sithebe.

He said by looking at the previous wheelchair the child was in that he was uncomfortable.

“The child showed a lot of happiness as soon as he got into his new wheels.

This is a type of thing that we usually do, where we usually give them new legs to use and help those open new doors,” said Sierra.

The joy it brings to be given what you need

He gave a brief description of their company and stated that it was founded by someone who was also a wheelchair user.

One of the recipients of the wheelchair was so overjoyed one could easily tell by the look in his faces as he was wheeled across the hall of his school.

The children had a lot of activities they had prepared for their visitors ranging from traditional dance, Sarafina and showed them their beautiful jewellery made out of beads.

Although the school principal was not around the Deputy and teachers extended their gratitude. They gave them a token of appreciation.
