Advance Soweto Day Hospitals encourage people to live a healthy lifestyle

Shoppers at Maponya Mall were yesterday given the opportunity of getting a free health test including; glucose and cholesterol to weight and height.

Those who had health complications were referred to the right specialists to address their problems and this initiative was made possible by Advanced Health Day Hospitals in partnership with the Global Citizen Festival and EPIONE Health Care Solutions.

There were also free dental checkups and HIV screenings, participants were also given an option to either test at the activation or take the Home HIV screening kit home and test whenever they feel ready.

Just by testing, participants stood a chance to win tickets to the much-anticipated Global Citizen Festival set to take place on December 2 and 25 of the participants won double tickets to this event. One of the lucky winners was Thembekile Mpanza from Zola.

” I am so excited, Beyoncé is my favourite, this is really a dream come true, I am going to take my little sister with,” said Mpanza
