South Africa’s Miss Teen Commonwealth finalist, Zipho Sithebe (18) from Centurion in Pretoria has extended a helping hand by donating seven dresses for the pupils from Sizwile School for the Deaf matric dance function held at Indaba Hotel Boma Restaurant in Fourways.
According to the young beauty queen, the dresses she donated had sentimental value to her.
“I won most of these dresses in the beauty pageants I’ve participated in the past. Despite the memory, I had to let these dresses go and donate them to other people who are less fortunate than I am. The feeling it is a great experience because I’m making a difference,” said Sithebe.

She also donated a suit and three blazers for the male pupils from the school.
The school principal, Madilonga Luvhimbi appreciated the donation made by Sithebe and said, “There were many schools that she could have chosen but she chose us.
“Our school wish her all the best in her endeavours in her chosen profession. We are behind her all the way on her journey to be crowned queen in the Miss Teen Beauty Pageant to be held next year in Roodepoort Theatre in February,” said Luvhimbi.
