Problem skin? This may just be your cup of tea!

Using chemicals on your faces while having acne could be one of the biggest mistakes of our lives.

If you have ever suffered, or are still suffering from acne, or just have a problem with your skin then this article is for you. Using chemicals on your faces while having acne could be one of the biggest mistakes of our lives.

Some work for some people but others also cause more damage such as burning and drying out of the skin. If you have a serious skin disorder, then it is advisable to consult a dermatologist.

However, if you suffer from normal breakouts then maybe a simple home remedy would do. The usual skin care routine is to have a wash, a toner or cleanser and a moisturizer, that’s a daily routine minus the once-a-week scrub.

Start small by changing up your toner (cleanser) and instead of using chemicals, try using green tea. Green tea is the secret remedy in this article. Green tea has detoxing, healing, repairing, smoothing, and anti-ageing properties.

The green teabag is soaking in the glass so it can draw out all the fluids.

The tea fights against skin cancer, it is a bacterial fighting agent, it reduces redness on the skin and unclogs pores. There are also different ways to use the tea. You can also make a facial mask but as we focusing on the cleanser, all you need is a spray bottle, a cup, a green tea bag, and boiling water.

Start by placing the tea bag in the cup, pour the boiling water over it so that the fluid can draw out of the bag, allow it to draw until the tea cools. Once the tea is cool, you can pour it into the spray bottle.

After washing your face, spray the green tea over your face and wipe it off with a cotton wool. You can put the spray in the fridge so that when you use it, it can unclog your pores and with the coldness of the spray, you will be closing your pores so that your skin is not open to welcoming bacteria.

You can then carry on with your regular routine after the cleanser. The spray can be used every time you wash your face.
