‘What’s a movie night without popcorn?’

“So many of our children don’t even know what the inside of a movie theatre looks like, so tonight is all about them. We want them to feel special and have fun, we wanted to create an atmosphere that resembles a real movie theatre. ”

100 children were treated to a movie night at the Gail Britoe Foundation (GBF) in Extension Two on October 27. Celeste and Wesley Greaver, who organised the treat for the children, said that the reason they chose to host a movie night was that many children in Eldorado Park haven’t had the opportunity to go to the movies.

The Greavers said that they own a party planning business and that the movie night package is one if their favourite offerings.

Celeste said, “So many of our children don’t even know what the inside of a movie theatre looks like, so tonight is all about them. We want them to feel special and have fun, we wanted to create an atmosphere that resembles a real movie theatre. ”

The children started arriving at the Gail Britoe Foundation at 6pm and walked down a red carpet to show off their outfits. “We encouraged them to dress up so they too could feel like movie stars, we also made sure snacks were provided. What’s a movie without popcorn?” said Greaver.

GBF founder, Ensley Britoe said that the movie night was a dream come true. ” I have been trying for years to take those who are less fortunate to the movies but tonight the movies was brought to us. This is something our children will never forget,” he said. Celeste and Wesley Greaver said that they plan to host movie nights in all the Eldorado Park extensions.
