VIDEO: Dancing to the beat of Afroblue

'Ubuntu is the greatest force behind humanity'.

It was indeed an awesome evening, talent unleashed as Afrikariz an upcoming show choir together with African Meander Scar Productions presented, ‘Shades of Afroblue’, the musical at the Pimville Assembly of God Zone 1.

“This is a show choir concept of a great village of love where Ubuntu is the greatest force behind humanity, with a clear definition of Ubuntu redefined as the faith and hope of the village is put to test as all the cattle are killed and the queen is abducted by an enemy village wanting to take their land, but because of unity, and a sound mind they overcome,” said founder and director Mpendulo Mhlanga.

It was an outpouring of creative juices and expression of African Greatness with the merge of two worlds, the world of drama and that of music and dance not forgetting the amazing harmonies of the Afrikariz ensemble and a beautiful script written and directed by Mpendulo Sipho Mhlanga, it was without a doubt, an awesome evening.
