Even though it was the first 16 teams that were playing on October 27, this also had coaches emotions high as they also wanted to see themselves in the semi-final stages or even better entering the finals.

Meadowlands United Brothers played against Soweto FC at the BRT grounds in Zone nine.

The fans agreed that it was a great match even though some teams it was their first match.

Soweto FC did their best and coach Singo former Moraka Swallows player said, ” this is the first time his under 17 team took part in tournaments and the more they get exposed to playing with other teams the more they will be developed.”

The Wastegroup Project sponsored players with soccer new kits and lunch.
