Although she was not born in Soweto her musical career began when she moved to the area. Maphokoane Serobanyane Known to many as Deejay(Dj) Puggy will be flying the flag of her hometown and the area that she is currently residing in the third annual Mzansi Kwaito and House Music awards(MKHMA).
Serobane is amongst people who were fortunate to share a stage with the likes of Dj Zinhle, Dj Miggs, Dj Phobia and many more. She said her unique sense of music always has people jolly when she is on stage.
It’s actually her first time being nominated in the MKHMA and would really open more doors for the young ambitious and career drove Puggy.Deejay Puggy describes herself as an achiever, highly motivated and inspired individual.

She is a woman of many talents as she was once a soccer player. She earned her self an award at Mamelodi Sundown and has also played for Banyana Banyana and was into athletics while she was still in high school.
“I believe that in this music industry, not a lot will stay consistent or relevant. The challenge is to find how do you reinvent and adapt to your surroundings,” said Puggy.
She concluded by her experience so far has taught her to stay humble at all times and to respect people.
