When life throws lemons, make lemonade

Empowering our future leaders.

In a bid to build young and strong people who will later become future leaders, it is important for one to invest knowledge and experience as a basis for building great leaders.

To be able to share this experience with young people in our community, the Young Women’s Group from Moletsane put into practice the idea that charity begins at home as they hosted a motivational talk session at Moletsane Secondary School.

With the theme of the theme of the session titled ‘Creating a Winning Attitude’, the motivational talk aimed to address concerns on the attitude of young people in general.

The session started off with the facilitator, Louisa, asking learners what their dreams, aspirations and ambitions are for their future and from the responses, it was clear that there were both relaxed and ambitious learners.

The address by Louisa spoke on how an attitude and dedication to a specific goal can get you far in life, making reference to herself and those who have been developing around her.

To give more value to the idea of motivating learners, Kagiso ‘Gwyza’ Diseko gave a speech about his life, motivating learners about the importance of being extra careful when making life choices.

In his address, Gwyza spoke about how he made poor life decisions while ended in him being trapped in a life of drugs and how he has spent a large time in his life trying to correct the mistakes of his past.
