TutorSA has built a TutorSA mobile APP for South African learners.
TutorSA has built a TutorSA mobile APP for South African learners to use freely in order to improve their school subject results. TutorSA is a non-profit voluntary body that provides face to face and online tutorials for free.
The organisation wants to create awareness to SA learners doing Grade 10, 11 or 12 about the existence of the app that can help them.
More about the App:
- The mobile app is available on play store at no cost to learners
- Learners are able to ask direct questions to tutors with immediate responses
- Considering that tutorials in South Africa are expensive, we providing free tutorials at no cost
- These tutorials are provided by university students, as TutorSA has partnered with the University of Johannesburg
- The mobile app can be downloaded by any learner in South Africa who has a smartphone and learn from it freely
- Our free mobile app can also be used for other functions such as career guidance. This is where we map the path of a learner from Grade 9 to when they go to varsity. We help them choose relevant subjects in line with their careers, create awareness to them about institutions that provide courses in line with their career of choice, create awareness about financial assistance that is available to them and helps them pass the subject they have selected.
- Our APP also allows learners of the same demographics to socially engage with each other.
