WATCH: Doors wide open to public at dance class

Keeping fit while having fun with Mpotseng.

Let’s face it, after all the stress of attending classes, going to work from morning until afternoon, there is no better way to relax than being in a dance class. These classes will also keep you busy and keep kids away from the streets.

The 27-Year-old Mpotseng ‘Braven’ Nhlapo from Pimville Zone 6 wants to share what she has learned in the dancing industry with the community.

Being a professional dancer, dance instructor and choreographer and being in the industry for 9 years she said that she has worked with South Africa’s most recognised choreographers and performed on international productions such as AFRIKA AFRIKA.

Nhlapo came up with an idea of Dance Classes called Rhythm Dance Classes, which she runs in Kliptown at Nomsa Manaka Dance Studio, Walter Sisulu Square. The classes are every Sunday during the month of October in the afternoon from 1 pm and they kicked off on October 7.

“I offer fitness dance classes aimed at boosting you positively ahead of your week and keeping you fit while dancing and they are meant for both adults and kids.

“Parents are more than welcome to bring their kids along to the classes for a 50% discount kids between the ages of 6 and 14,” said Nhlapo. She will be doing all these with her partner, Karabo Moalusi.
