Woman shot dead allegedly by her husband in Mofolo
Community radio station to host a prayer session at the deceased's home.
On October 8, a 42-year-old woman was shot and allegedly killed by her husband in front of her kids. The incident took place at Mofolo North.
It is alleged that domestic violence has been going on for a long time.
Other sources claim that the woman, identified as Bangisiwe Nyembe Tshabalala, was shot by her husband for allegedly refusing to grant her man permission to marry another woman.
A police statement read, “A Soweto businessman who owns a few buy and braai places at Mofolo gunned down his 47-year-old wife in front of his children.”
We’ve also learned that the man (49-years-old) handed himself over to the Moroka police a few hours later. Adding to the story, local radio station Jozi FM will be hosting a prayer in Mofolo at 217 A Machaba Drive at 6 pm.
