VIDEO: Perfecting the art of nail beauty

T.T. Boutique excited about the new nail technician course they will be offering.

In a country where the youth are idling the streets because of unemployment – the T.T Boutique is on the mission to reduce unemployment by empowering ladies with nail technique skill while enhancing women beauty.

This time around the renown T.T. Boutique have added a new nail technique (Nail technology) course aimed at empowering unemployed Soweto females by changing their fortunes by making them self-sustainable.

“Nail technician course entails the study of nails, application of Acrylic, gel, manicure and pedicure. It runs for a duration of three weeks.

“We will be rolling out the course to all corners of Soweto and visiting dedicated spots where we will host our three weeks training sessions,” said T.T. Boutique founder Thato Makgolane.

She said they’ve realised that there is a huge gap which needs people of their expertise to exploit in the beauty industry. Makgolane said by imparting nail technician skills to Soweto ladies is a step in a right direction for their students to get a piece of a pie in the growing beauty industry.

“Nail technique is a creative field, a person who is interested in this field should have patients and be passionate about the beauty industry. The course allows nails technicians to be creative and come up with mind-boggling and unique nail artworks.

“All these could be done by the nail technician in an endeavour to enhance women beauty,” said Makgolane.

T.T. Boutique is proud to be amongst the first Soweto beauty spar aimed at eradicating a negative mindset that perfect nail technicians can only be found in affluent suburbs and in town. She said they have a dedicated team of nail technicians ready to share their knowledge with aspiring students.

Makgolane said the course will also educate the students on how to create their own client’s database for their business to be sustainable.



She said they will also educating the students on how they should market their nail technician businesses.

“T.T. Boutique have packaged the nail technician course that we will be offering. The beauty of the course is that students can continue working their 9-5 jobs and later make extra income through nail technician skills they acquired.

“Graduates can also work in the comfort of their house. The course will commence at the beginning of September. First batch of our graduates will complete the course by the end of September,” said Makgolane.

She said qualified students will get nail technology manuals and nail technician kits to be used for their business start-up. The course is opened for ladies from 18-above.
