Fashionistas, get set for Eldos’ very first fashion extravaganza!
The Eldos Fashion Week will take place on September 4, at the Don Mateman Hall in Eldorado Park.
The Eldorado Park Arts & Jazz Festival has partnered with Delano Michael from SYNC Model Management PTY LTD and the Eldorado Fashion Week (EFW) team to deliver the most exciting locally produced event next month.
The EFW team consists of a dynamic group of young directors, designers and creatives from every social platform.
“We promise to showcase a fully independent and locally produced fashion show which will run in conjunction with spring and summer 2018,” said Michael.

The Eldos Arts & Jazz Festival is an eminent week-long festival which will host the fashion show as one of its events. The festival will host other forms of exhibitions which include a unique combination of local music, dance and art.
According to Michael, the fashion show will showcase a range of locally sourced talent from designers and models to caterers and staff.
“The event is focused on highlighting the extent to which Southern African talent, especially within the Coloured community, can conjure and thus allure the public at large to invest in their talent and flexible creative ability.
“We are constantly identifying new things about ourselves and this is implemented in our work; the more you use creativity the more you have of it – it is never-ending,” he said.
“Those who will attend should expect to be artistically engaged whilst experiencing a surprisingly commended punch in the gut through the evening’s showcase which, besides the attraction of fashion, will feature a hair show, live performances and refreshments; inclusive in the ticket price.
Andrew Jacobs, Chris Demas and Karim Mahlawy will showcase a hair extravaganza. Designers, Alexander Akinnola, Vanessa Mann, Donna Wentzel, Varity Oliphant, Denver Macdonald Juries and Georgene Steele will be showcasing their designs.
Camille Kock is set to be the make-up artist. J-Star will be performing and DJ Ady Flemming will be in the building. The Eldos Fashion Week will take place on September 4, at the Don Mateman Hall in Eldorado Park.
