Eldos man falsely accused of kidnapping comes forward
Social media users are warned to verify facts before sharing potentially damaging content.
Bradley Slimmerts, a 24-year-old man from Eldorado Park, has been falsely accused of kidnapping, undressing and taking pictures of children on multiple occasions.
The accusations have resulted in Slimmerts being slandered and threatened on social media when the post was first uploaded by Facebook user Yolanda Smith, and further spread on social media on a larger scale.
Bradley visited the EldosFM studio yesterday to inform the community that he has done nothing wrong and that the Facebook post is not true.
The post has put Slimmerts’ life in danger and he is pleading with the community not to believe the slanderous allegations which portray him as a paedophile.
The 24-year-old has opened a case against Smith. Social media users are warned to verify facts before sharing potentially damaging content on social media.
