A man was stoned, gun shots heard by residents.
Dingaan Ngcobo, a brother to the murdered Believer Sithole cried while his brother laid lifeless in the Streets of Diepkloof Zone 3.
Residents heard quarrels and gunshots in the early hours of Sunday morning 24 June and woke up to the lifeless body of a contract worker who was identified as Believer Sithole.
The deceased young man is said to have arrived last night from Limpopo. He returned home last night around 7pm with a bottle of liquor and his wallet was full of money.
He left R1200 with a certain woman from the same yard he dwells in before going out with an undisclosed amount of cash.
His mourning friends and brother, Dingaan Ngcobo said, “I left Believers at Noordgesig to come and find him dead in the streets this morning.”
A case of murder has been opened according to Captain Phephi Matlou Mteto who is the spokesperson for Diepkloof SAPS.
