All you need to know about the Flava Yase Kasi tournament

Flava Yase Kasi will have a grand finale.

Soweto Gold Superior Golden Lager has announced schedule changes to the Flava Yase Kasi tournament, as it expands the tournament to add a grand finale to crown the ultimate Kasi winner for the whole of Gauteng.

The 5-aside tournament kicked-off at the Sedibeng soccer grounds in the Vaal headed by local soccer legend Aaron “Mbazo” Mokoena.

The subsequent tournament is set to take place across Gauteng in Tembisa, Mamelodi, Ga-Rankuwa, Katlehong, Alexandra and Soweto – where each tournament will crown a winning team the Kings of Kasi, with each team winning R10 000.

Because of the overwhelming amount of interest in these tournaments, there have been changes in venue to accommodate a greater number of people.

Safety of the players and spectators is of priority, and this has resulted in special care in choosing the new venues for the bigger and better Flava Yase Kasi tournament.

Due to this, the tournaments in Tembisa and Mamelodi have been pushed back. Soweto Gold is making each tournament bigger, celebrating the best in dynamic football style and skills with Flava Yase Kasi in each kasi.

The ultimate Flava Yase Kasi winner for the whole of Gauteng will be awarded the title of Kings of Flava Yase Kasi Gauteng and will be awarded the grand prize of R30 000.

There will be a pre-registration day a week before the tournament in each area and participants must be 18 years and above.

The date and the venue for the grand finale are to be confirmed. To get more updates about the tournament, follow Soweto Gold on Facebook.
