Mother’s Day Special: A reporter’s love poem to hers and all mothers

"Life began with waking up and loving my mother's face " George Eliot "We are born of love, love is our mother" Rumi

A Poem by Anonymous for Mother’s Day
A Mother’s Day is here, Bringing joy and pleasures new, On this special day Mother dear
I want to remember you
I cannot give you costly gifts, And I’ve told you this before, No matter what, I give to you, You give back much, much more

I’m giving you a pure, Sweet rose, Gathered in the early mom, This rose you planted in my heart, The day that I was born
In kindly, Loving thoughts of you, And with the faith you still impart, The rose, I give to today, Is the love that’s in my heart

Siyabonga Jiyane and Queeneth Jiyane

Mother’s Day is a special day each year where we can honour and celebrate our mothers. We celebrate them for the wonderful and strong people they are.
Mother’s are the gardeners of life who make our souls blossom. A mother never asks for a day to realize her love. When you look into your mother’s eyes you know that is the purest love you can find on this earth. Queeneth Jiyane is the queen of my heart nobody can take her place in my heart. She is the emotional backbone of our family. My mother has worked hard and made sacrifices, so our lives would be better. She is the survivor for holding place for everyone’s feelings and do their best to keep us from being hurt. I share smiles and tears, ups and downs, and fun and laughter. Her laughter is my best medication. Moms are the greatest teachers in the world. She taught me to appreciate the small things I have in life, being myself, walking tall always and shared the life challenges and gave guided me. I wouldn’t ask for a better mom
