Residents from around Diepkloof Square who were enticed about winning a red car that has been on display for the past few months in the centre marvelled when they saw the winner drive away in the car.
The manager for Diepkloof Square, Jabulani Sibiya said that the people look down on these competitions and avoid entering, so it is only right for them to watch the winner celebrate.

Meccia Mogayila drove away in the brand new car, however, she was very happy to have made it in the top five anyway, before the draw she said, “I feel very happy though I am very anxious.”
The draw took place after the music entertained the people while they danced and participated in the build-up competitions to the draw that saw the Mogayila residence drive away with the new car.

Thandizwe Mcence is another lucky shopper who made it to the top five, he said, “Just being in the top five unexpectedly has made me feel like a winner already.”
Mogayila wore black on the day of the draw accompanied by her children who were in celebratory mode as soon as the car started, indicating that Mogayila has won.
Mogayila said, “I feel very excited and speechless, all thanks to the Almighty. I knelt in full view of everyone expressing gratitude to God.
