12-year-old boy left critically injured in collision
He was knocked over by a light motor vehicle.
A boy, believed to be 12-years-old, was left critically injured when he was knocked over by a light motor vehicle at the Commando and Springbok Road intersection in Industria, west of Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 15h11 to find other services already in attendance.

Upon closer inspection, paramedics found that the boy had sustained serious injuries, leaving him in a critical condition.

Paramedics treated the boy and provided him with advanced life support interventions before he was airlifted by the ER24 Oneplan Helicopter to Mediclinic Sandton for urgent treatment.
The driver of the light motor vehicle, fortunately, escaped injury Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
