‘All you have to do is have some climbing faith’

No mountain is too high.

Naledi is an organization that is aimed in helping the youth to take charge of their lives, to transform victims to victors, survivors to those fully living their lives, feeling ashamed to feeling proud, to leading from the following without knowing why and rebuilding families, communities and one teenager at a time.

Every Saturday, they hosted their events at Thlatlogang Secondary School to encourage and empower the learners to change their lives and become better people and have the bright future.

They assist the youth with critical thinking and problem solving, self-reliance, responsibility, commitment to change, ensure learning from workshops translates into sustainable behaviour change, and building a solid platform of leadership mindset & behavioural habits.

They taught learners about 7Rs and everything works because of a relationship namely: Risk, Reflection, Resilience, Resourceful, Reasoning, Responsibility, and Relationship.

The workshop introduces students to a series of key life skills and attitudes through activities and group discussion. They also teach values namely Courage, Identity, Leadership, Resilience, Conflict, Diversity.

Lesego Molggae said he gained positive self-esteem and not allow the negative comment to overpower him. Anything is possible and not associates myself with people who bring other people down. They taught me not to be negative towards other people and never judge a book by its cover.

People are stars but they don’t behave like stars “No matter how you feel you need to keep pushing and they will be the improvement in the end. The exercises that we used to do have changed my life in a positive way,” said Molggae.

Thembani Nyoni a coach said, “To help learners to deal with their problems. The change within the learners is still little because some are still struggling with peer pressure.”
