Do’s and don’ts when you’re stuck in traffic this Easter

Road-tripping this Easter? Get to your holiday destination safely with some constructive traffic jamming for the nerves.

As many families and friends take to the roads this Easter holiday, being stuck in traffic is inevitable. Instead of being impatient and letting it spoil your day,  make it work for you with these do’s and don’ts.

Don’t use the term killing time. Time is precious. Use it wisely.

Don’t focus on bad roads, bad driving, time wasted. It is what it is.

Don’t listen to talk shows unless you have to. They mostly get your blood boiling.

Don’t use your cell phone while driving (or sitting in traffic). It’s dangerous.

Start your day positively by listening to music you like or motivational CDs.

Practise meditation by observing your thoughts and not allowing the negative ones in.

Always have some snacks ready for those mid-traffic munchies
