The Gauteng MEC for Education, Panyaza Lesufi, will today receive a monetary donation of millions from the Motsepe Foundation.
Mr Patrice Motsepe and Dr Precious Moloi Motsepe will grace the occasion to donate over R8.5 million to different schools and churches in Soweto. Among others, the donation aims to improve ICT and infrastructure in schools.
“We are delighted to benefit from this good initiative by the Motsepe Foundation which focuses on enriching the quality of education in township schools, benefiting the previously disadvantaged communities.
“We must appreciate that the Motsepe Foundation, has already donated over R100 million to our schools and churches throughout South Africa”, said MEC Lesufi.
