Sober Minded or Not?

Westbury production in Eldos.

Sober Minded is a theatre production. Jesse Maart from Kramp Vibes said that the cast thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and is, of course, looking forward to coming back to do many more killer shows.

According to Maart, the production “Sober Minded Innocent but Guilty, A Killers Kill” is a solid production that needs to be seen by many more communities.

“The play is set out in the very well-known and notorious Westbury in the West Rand area. The production most definitely deserves the dictum which was said by many in the crowd, “If it’s nice, play it twice.”

The show took place on December 22, 2017, at the Don Mateman Civic Centre Hall.

Boeta is a character that was played by Jason Hermanus who always gets the crowd going with his drunken master stunts. His drunken master character and angelic voice kicked off the show with a bang as he sang the classic, “Me and Mrs Jones” by Billy Joel.

According to Maart, the other cast members played their parts very well, executed and delivered their acts on point.

He said, “The fact that they go to other locations only proves that it boosts their confidence and it gives them more experience when it comes to stage performances.

Every monologue that was done was expressed with so much passion as if they were in that current situation.” He also added that he would like to congratulate the cast and “A huge well done to the Sober Minded Crew,” he said.

From the Bliss Production House, they would like to thank Kramp Vibez Factory for making the opportunity available to the cast and crew to showcase their talents in Eldorado Park.
