Lu-Keaschia Groep is the Blue School’s top student

Blue Schools Top 3.

The class of 2017 has done exceedingly well on the pass rate. Eldorado Park Senior Secondary School (Blue School) was the top school in the Greater Eldorado Park.

Marlon Louw, the principal of the Blue School is extremely proud of his students, all 106 students that passed last year.

Groep and Goss are tied at the top of the table as they both matriculated with three distinctions; however, Groep’s results are slightly better than Goss’s. Prince falls in at third place with one distinction.

Goss has three distinctions in the first additional language Afrikaans, Life Orientation, and Geography. Prince got his distinction in Geography.

Although Prince is third on the list, he is not the only one who got one distinction; however, it is his results in the other six subjects that got him that position.

It is now time to look closer at the top student of the Blue School, Groep. As mentioned before, she received three distinctions.

She got distinctions in Life Orientation, Afrikaans and Accounting. She said that she is super proud of her distinction in accounting as that is the subject she focused on the most.

She said, “I feel really good because I was nervous about getting into varsity since my Grade 11 marks weren’t as good. So when I received my results I was ecstatic because I knew that there’s a good chance of me getting accepted by the varsity of my choice.”

She said that she will be studying Accounting Science at the University of Witwatersrand (Wits).

After speaking to the Eldorado Park reporter she said that the reason for that was because she had always been passionate about accounting since they started learning it.
