Cllr Rafferty: “Thugs broke into our office and stole”

Recently the councillors’ office has been broken into. According to councillor Peter Rafferty, they had broken into the office in the evening of Monday or early Tuesday morning.
The suspects had entered through the back of the office where they had broken the burglar bars.
After entering the through the suspects then broke the door of Rafferty’s office and according to him, they had stolen all the sports equipment.

Rafferty said what they had stolen was, “Basket, Puma soccer balls, netballs, medals, soccer and netball bibs.”
He also added that the colours of the bibs are red, green, white and blue.
If anyone hears or sees someone attempting to sell these items to them or someone else please contact the police.
