A Rea Vaya bus was seen burning in Mapetla. According to onlookers, the bus was transporting commutes as usual when it caught flames.
“The bus had just loaded passengers at a bus stop. When it took off, the fire emerged from under the bus and we managed to alert the driver who was not aware of the situation.
“The passengers managed to get off the bus before the fire got out of control,” said a resident who was at the scene, Rosina Mthembu.
The incident occurred 2 days ago.
