A Unique Martell Cognac Experience at the first AFROPUNK festival in Africa

The two day festival hosted an array of international and local musical acts and truly set the bar high for the next festival.

Thousands of festival goers, curious socials and music lovers came together at Constitutional Hill in Johannesburg, South Africa on the 30th and 31st of December to ring in the New Year at the first AFROPUNK festival in Africa.

The two day festival hosted an array of international and local musical acts; from Anderson .Paak & The Free Nations, Laura Mvula, King TA vs Blk Jks, Black Motion, DJ Kenzero, DJ Lag, Theo Parrish, Thebe, Goods and Sons, The Alvinator, Sho Madjozi and many more. Martell Cognac offered various unique experiences designed to transform the conventional festival experience for the festival goers that stopped by the Martell Village. Village goers enjoyed delicious bespoke cocktails, Martell infused foods and could get the coolest ultraviolet light tattoos, while exploring their curiosity at the photo booth.

The Martell Village had its own dedicated area at the AFROPUNK Fest featuring an elevated viewing deck with direct views of the main stage where guests enjoyed the newly launched Martell VS Single Distillery, and signature cocktails such as the Martell Side Car and the AFROPUNK cocktail.
