Starlight Talent show gives Eldos exposure

NLAI hosts talent show and gives the community a platform to expose themselves.

No Limits Academy International (NLAI) is a dance school that was started by a talented young man, who goes by the name of Jonathan Retief. Retief is ranked 11th on a list where the world’s greatest dancers have their names written down as well.

Retief and NLAI hosted a talent show at the Don Mateman Civic Centre Hall. NLAI presented the Starlight Talent Show in search for the best of the best in all categories. Whether you’re a dancer, singer or even rapper, NLAI gave a platform for all performers to gain exposure.

Unfortunately, things did not go according to plan for Retief as certain performers did not pitch up for the show, but that did not stop the show from going on. Retief said that hopefully with the next attempt at trying to put on a show he will be more prepared.

Dancers from all over the community came to showcase their talent on stage. Each dancer was given the opportunity to have all eyes on them. Most of the talent at the show were dancers but there were a few guys who came to switch it up. Aspiring rap artists from the community also came to put on a show for the crowd.

Many might not believe it, but after a show like that, it is certain that there are people out there in the Greater Eldorado Park community who do have talent, but unfortunately, they are not given the platform to showcase their capabilities.
