The ANC Youth League Chairperson for Ward 29, Sam Molefe, called on members to act with fairness and respect no matter who emerges as its new leader.  “No one is perfect, we are all members of the ANC, and whoever wins and comes outon top must get support from all the comrades.”

Molefe mentioned brown envelopes (https://www.timeslive.co.za/politics/2017-11-24-anc-hopefuls-are-all-as-bad-as-each-other/) that come to play during the conferences and change that fate of the country, he condemned such actions and advocated for lucidity so that national promises can be kept.
Mlamuleli Ngxoli was dismayed at the fact that since 1994, most promises have been buried and forgotten, he said, “If only these so called conferences would bring real change, we are tired of hearing talks and seeing no action, we hope whoever emerges, backs their talk with positive change.”
S’fiso Zondi didn’t have much to say about the upcoming conference either than, “Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t.”
Molefe noted that the delegates still need to be faithful and loyal to the branches, he said, “Above all, we hope that this conference will unite ANC.”
