Locally, Omar Williams owns the Halaal Mexican Chicken Fiesta on Albertina Sisulu Road in Bosmont.
The store is almost ten years old and Williams is proud to announce that since its opening in May 2008, they have been recognised and known for their mouth-watering Mexican meals.
This store was the first of the franchise to come into our community and Williams along with his staff, are driven to cater to their customers with the best they have.

“We attribute our secret for success to our owner-run hands-on approach and by complimenting and upholding our brand. The store prepares a vast number of dishes with stringent recipes whilst maintaining strict hygiene standards.
“Our store has become famous for its good taste and flair for supporting our motto, ‘Spicy but not hot’ while providing bigger portions,” said Williams.
All dishes which include chicken, Mexican and meaty dishes are all prepared from scratch in the good old-fashioned manner, according to Williams.
The Halaal Mexican Chicken Fiesta is endorsed by the Heart and Stroke Foundation South Africa (HSFSA) and as a result, they offer a selection of vegetarian meals.

The foundation plays a leading role in the fight against preventable heart disease and stroke, with the aim of seeing fewer people in our country suffer premature deaths and disabilities.
The HSFSA was established in 1980 and is a non-governmental, non-profit organization which relies on external funding to sustain the work it carries out.
The aim of the foundation is to reduce the cardiovascular disease (CVD) burden in the country and ultimately on the health care system of South Africa.
HSFSA’s mission is to empower people in South Africa to adopt healthy lifestyles, make healthy choices easier, seek appropriate care and encourage prevention.
