Man knocked over by a car in Diepkloof

A man, believed to be in his 20s, was killed after being knocked over by a car on the N1 North in Diepkloof last night.

At approximately 18h20, ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man lying in the road, showing no signs of life.

Unfortunately, there was nothing paramedics could do to save the man and he was declared dead on the scene.

Local authorities were on the scene to conduct an investigation into this incident.
