DA elects new regional leadership
Find out who were elected to fill DA positions at the party's Provincial Congress.
The Democratic Alliance (DA) in the Johannesburg region held its Provincial Congress last week. The congress which took place at Turffontein Racecourse also served as a platform for the election of the new leadership.
Nine key regional leadership positions were filled after the election. Eligible members voted for their new leaders through a secret ballot system.

Heinrich Cyril Volmink was elected to the position of regional chairperson while Tsepo Mhlongo was chosen to be regional deputy chairperson.
Other names which made it to the regional leadership list are Patrick George Atkinson, Nicole (Nicci) Rahn, Nicole Janita Van Dyk, Daluxolo Wiseman Cele, Alex Christians, Patrick Aidan Edward Mc Gee, Luyolo Mphithi, Katherine Louise Lorimer and Vasco Manuel Da Gama.
